This file provides guidance to Claude Code (claude.ai/code) when working with code in this repository.
This is the universal AI skills library — reusable, production-ready skill packages that bundle domain expertise, best practices, analysis tools, and strategic frameworks. Works with every major AI coding assistant: Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot, Codex, Gemini CLI, Windsurf, Cline, Aider, Goose, and more.
Current Scope: 368 production-ready skills across 20 domains with 859 Python automation tools, 76 AI agents (including 8 personas), 26 slash commands, 21 compound sub-skills, and 8 CI/CD workflows. Project Management is the most-used domain (68 skills: discovery, delivery, career growth, strategy frameworks, GTM, modern AI/growth PM, integrations).
Key Distinction: This is NOT a traditional application. It's a library of skill packages meant to be extracted and deployed by users into their AI coding workflows.
This repository uses modular documentation. For domain-specific guidance, see:

├── SKILL.md # Master documentation
├── scripts/ # Python CLI tools (no ML/LLM calls)
├── references/ # Expert knowledge bases
└── assets/ # User templates
Design Philosophy: Skills are self-contained packages. Each includes executable tools (Python scripts), knowledge bases (markdown references), and user-facing templates. Teams can extract a skill folder and use it immediately.
Key Pattern: Knowledge flows from references/ → into SKILL.md workflows → executed via scripts/ → applied using assets/ templates.
Branch Strategy: single-trunk — a short-lived type-branch → main via PR. There is no dev branch.
Name branches with a Conventional-Commit type prefix (feat/, fix/, chore/, docs/, ci/, perf/, refactor/, …). PRs target main directly.
# 1. Start from an up-to-date main
git checkout main
git pull origin main
# 2. Create a type-prefixed branch
git checkout -b feat/agents-{name}
# 3. Work and commit (Conventional Commits)
# feat(agents): implement cs-{agent-name}
# fix(tool): correct calculation logic
# docs(workflow): update branch strategy
# 4. Push and open a PR against main
git push -u origin feat/agents-{name}
gh pr create --base main --head feat/agents-{name}
# 5. After review/CI, squash-merge to main (delete the branch)Conventions:
mainis the single integration branch; merge via PR (squash preferred).- Branch names use a Conventional-Commit type prefix; commit messages follow
type(scope): summary. - After adding/removing/renaming a skill, regenerate the manifests:
python scripts/build_manifest.py(CI also does this).
See standards/git/git-workflow-standards.md for commit standards.
site/ is not a single generator's output. Three things write into it, and
the order matters — getting it wrong silently destroys the landing page.
mkdocs build # 1. docs/ -> site/ (CLEANS site/ first)
git checkout HEAD -- site/index.html \
site/css/style.css \
site/js/main.js # 2. restore the hand-maintained landing page
python3 scripts/generate_site.py # 3. skills.json -> 368 skill + 20 domain pagesmkdocs buildwipessite/before writing. It must run first, never last.site/index.html,site/css/style.cssandsite/js/main.jsare hand-maintained with no source file elsewhere in the repo. MkDocs overwritesindex.htmlwith its render ofdocs/index.mdand deletes the css/js. They must be restored from git after everymkdocs build, then re-edited if counts changed.generate_site.pyreads the rootskills.json(regenerate viabuild_manifest.pyfirst if skills changed) and writes onlysite/skills/,site/agents/,site/commands/, plus sitemap/robots/llms.txt. It never touchesindex.html..github/workflows/pages.ymldeploys the committedsite/directory on anysite/**change. Nothing is built in CI — what you commit is what ships.
When counts change, update them in README.md, CLAUDE.md, mkdocs.yml,
docs/index.md, docs/skills/index.md, docs/SKILLS.md, docs/INSTALLATION.md,
docs/getting-started/installation.md, docs/reference/architecture.md, and the
hand-maintained site/index.html.
No build system or test frameworks - intentional design choice for portability.
Python Scripts:
- Use standard library only (minimal dependencies)
- CLI-first design for easy automation
- Support both JSON and human-readable output
- No ML/LLM calls (keeps skills portable and fast)
If adding dependencies:
- Keep scripts runnable with minimal setup (
pip install packageat most) - Document all dependencies in SKILL.md
- Prefer standard library implementations

Next Priorities:
- Phase 5 (Q2 2026): Per-skill installation system, automatic updates, ClawHub publishing
- Phase 6 (Q3 2026): 250+ skills - blockchain, web3, advanced analytics, specialized mobile
Target: 250+ skills by Q3 2026
- Skills are products - Each skill deployable as standalone package
- Documentation-driven - Success depends on clear, actionable docs
- Algorithm over AI - Use deterministic analysis (code) vs LLM calls
- Template-heavy - Provide ready-to-use templates users customize
- Platform-specific - Specific best practices > generic advice
- Creating dependencies between skills (keep each self-contained)
- Adding complex build systems or test frameworks (maintain simplicity)
- Generic advice (focus on specific, actionable frameworks)
- LLM calls in scripts (defeats portability and speed)
- Over-documenting file structure (skills are simple by design)
Creating New Skills: Follow the appropriate domain's roadmap and CLAUDE.md guide (see Navigation Map above).
Editing Existing Skills: Maintain consistency across markdown files. Use the same voice, formatting, and structure patterns.
Quality Standard: Each skill should save users 40%+ time while improving consistency/quality by 30%+.
- .gitignore: Excludes .vscode/, .DS_Store, .env*, pycache/, node_modules/
- Standards Library: standards/ - Communication, quality, git, documentation, security
- Implementation Plans: documentation/implementation/
- Sprint Delivery: documentation/delivery/
Last Updated: July 2026
Version: 4.11.0
Status: 368 skills, 68 cs-* agents (+ 8 personas), 26 commands, 21 sub-skills, 20 domains (incl. workflow meta-skills), Gemini CLI support.
