Have you thought about adding support for open weight models for both speaking and custom 3d models (like trellis) ?

trellis can generate pretty good 3d models which can be imported and used in my opinion instead of 2d stuff and their are some great open weight speech models which can be used by llm and if lips can be controlled woth 3d model then it would be pretty awesome and maybe some custom functions for performing actions and stuff would be pretty cool as well.
