GSConnect not showing new SMS.

Describe the bug

New SMS are not being displayed in GSConnect Messaging.

Steps to reproduce

1. Clear the device cache in the GSConnect app on the PC.
2. Send an SMS message to my phone from another phone
3. Phone recieves SMS. Notification appears on the desktop. No message appears in the GSConnect Messaging window.
4. Open the GSConnect tray menu and select messaging.
5. The "Send SMS" window appears with a list of contacts. There are no messages shown.

Expected behavior

Step 5 above should cause a show the test SMS message when opening Messaging from the GSConnect tray menu.

The attached log was collected while performing the "Steps to reproduce" above.

Before I cleared the cache on the PC I did have a history of messages that appeared in GSConnect Messaging, but they were older messages. Many of them were incorrectly identified as Group Chats.

Things to note: I do receive the notification on my desktop when an SMS is received. Media controls on the phone work fine to control my PC media player.

After creating this report I cleared the cache in the GSConnect program for my Pixel 7 phone. I then unpaired the phone. Next I cleared the cache and app data for the KDE Connect app on my phone. I paired the devices again and set the required permissions. I opened Messaging from the GSConnect tray icon. The messaging window was populated by old messages, dated up to September 10th. No messages after that date are appearing. Also, several of the messages are being reported as Group Messages incorrectly. Hovering over some of them shows duplicates of the senders.

One other item to mention... I can send text messages from the GSConnect app and they are received by the recipient. The message appears in the GSConnect history. If I text back from the recipient I see the desktop notification, but the new message never appears at the left side of the Messaging window.
