BioGrid 2.0: Nature-Inspired Infrastructure for the Great Lakes Region

🔧 What is BioGrid 2.0?

BioGrid 2.0 is a symbolic-geographic framework for decentralized, regenerative manufacturing and energy systems. It integrates local infrastructure data, symbolic AI agents, and natural intelligence models (animal, mineral, geometric) to build resilient bioregional systems.

Focus:

  • Localized energy & materials
  • Regenerative cycles
  • Symbolic computation bridges
  • Resilience to collapse

JinnZ2

• Small-town seed-to-factory design simulation?

•	Bio-mining and refining optimization based on location?

•	Localized AI swarm that knows geography and logistics patterns

with: • Symbolic Sensor Suite

•	Geometric-to-Binary Bridge

•	Regenerative Intelligence Core

Release Version: v1.0-public-release

Status: Open to contribution, collaboration, or use by any organization or government

What's Included

  • INDEX.md — Canonical navigation anchor. Start here.
  • docs/integration/Technical-validation.md — Graded evidence base (v2, 2026-08)
  • docs/science/METHODS.md — Method register: what to use per subsystem, today
  • docs/science/REFERENCES.md — Graded bibliography, including failed citations
  • data/reference.figures.v0.1.json — Machine-readable figures with sources and dates
  • docs/blueprint/BioIntelligenceSeed.md — Compressed seed/vision snapshot
  • schema/ — Trust perimeter, integration, commons, and graph schemas
  • src/biogrid/ — Installable Python package (pip install -e ".[dev]")
  • docs/legacy/ — Superseded documents, kept verbatim for provenance
  • LICENSE — MIT license (free to use, build, adapt)

Evidence Policy

BioGrid 2.0 tells people to build physical things, so its claims have to be checkable. Every externally-sourced number in this repo carries an evidence grade (A/B/C/D), a source, and a retrieval date, and lives in data/reference.figures.v0.1.json.

No design decision may rest on a grade C or D claim alone. When a claim is found to be wrong, it is not quietly edited — it is retracted in writing, with the retraction kept visible in Technical-validation.md §1, and the superseded document moves to docs/legacy/ unchanged. Fifteen claims from the v1 evidence document did not survive verification in the 2026 review. They are all listed there.

Why It Exists

To offer a real, scalable, regenerative infrastructure model for harsh-climate regions using:

  • Dual neural-mycelial grids
  • Ant and fungal intelligence models
  • Decentralized, resilient energy logic
  • Nature-based systems engineering

This release invites others with more resources to run with it.

Who This Is For

Engineers, researchers, builders, and decision-makers ready to:

  • Solve energy problems with nature-inspired logic
  • Design better infrastructure under political and environmental constraints
  • Accelerate post-industrial revitalization

Quick Start

  1. Read INDEX.md — the navigation anchor for everything else
  2. Read docs/integration/Technical-validation.md — what the evidence actually supports, and what it doesn't
  3. Read docs/science/METHODS.md — which methods to use per subsystem as of 2026
  4. Review docs/blueprint/BioIntelligenceSeed.md for the compressed encoded vision
  5. Install and run the tooling:
pip install -e ".[dev]"
python -m pytest tests/ -v
python tools/lint_index.py --repo . --verbose
  1. Fork, download, or clone — and build

No contact needed — just build it better.

"BioGrid 2.0 is not just a design — it’s a memory. Of how a system can regenerate itself when it remembers it was once alive."
