I am a professor and researcher at UNEMAT working at the intersection of scientific computing, software engineering, and applied artificial intelligence. My work focuses on turning mathematical models, scientific questions, and real-world problems into traceable, testable, and reproducible computational systems.
My academic background includes an M.Sc. in Science from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica (ITA) and a Licentiate degree in Computing from UNEMAT. My current activities combine teaching, academic leadership, research, extension, and applied software development.

- Numerical methods — FEM, Whitney/Nédélec edge-element formulations, EFG/EFGMI, and engineering simulation.
- Scientific & high-performance computing — C/C++, Python, parallel computing, benchmarking, and numerical reproducibility.
- Artificial intelligence & computer vision — image acquisition and analysis, applied AI, automation, and research support systems.
- Embedded systems & IoT — ESP32, Raspberry Pi, sensors, and experimental prototypes.
