License scope for published pretrained models and derived sparse arrays #26

Description

@BlackFoil

Hello Flyvis maintainers,

We are preparing a public robotics demonstration using Flyvis model flow/0000/000, with attribution to your Nature 2024 paper and preservation of the MIT notice. Our runtime uses exported sparse connectivity and parameter arrays for browser inference; we have not retrained the model.

Could you confirm whether the repository's MIT license also covers redistribution of:

  1. The published results_pretrained_models.zip archive and its flow/0000/000 checkpoint.
  2. Derived arrays containing connectivity indices, trained weights, biases and time constants, plus a computed steady state, in a public GitHub repository.
  3. Demo videos and activity traces generated by this model, including any additional attribution requirements.

Our source is commit 92b3845cc426dd309a1a0e1b3890156c42e14021. The archive SHA-256 is 71c78d4070556a536b13b23ee3139cd2788aa2a9d07d430a223b4edead281db1, matching the official downloader. We found the repository's MIT license but no separate notice inside the downloaded archive.

If different terms apply to the weights or connectivity data, could you point us to the applicable license and required notices? We are holding publication of our model bundle pending clarification.

Thank you.
