ReadMore plugin was developed on wordpress 5.7 and has been tested down to version 4.3.
Clone or download the folder into your wordpress/wp-content/plugin folder and install in the admin panel
This is the first version(1.0) released and more to comme hopefully in the future.
It appends a "More" link at the end of the post excerpt with the post permalink instead of the generic "[...]" that does not nothing
